Full membership requires three sponsors familiar with your work and a 5 year (3 years with completion of 3 exams) 'active in technical analysis' requirement. To be a member of the MTA, you don't have to take the CMT coursework, but to hold a CMT charter, you have to be a full (and sponsored) member of the MTA. CJ,
