Link Post: Finding a New Trading Home via SMB Capital
Steve Spencer at SMB Capital recently shared both a personal story of how he and Mike Bellafiore adapted to change by uniting shared interests and experiences via the founding of SMB Capital, which serves as a good example of how to turn misfortune into opportunity.
In a post entitled, “Finding a New Trading Home,” Steve recounts his personal experience of how he walked into work one morning at the proprietary trading firm at which he worked and all traders were unceremoniously told that the firm, or at least the proprietary trading side, would be closed.
That’s not good news!
Steve was faced with daunting questions:
“How would we continue our livelihood? And more importantly, where?”
The solution led to what we know now as SMB Capital!
