Link: Quantifiable Edges Guide to Fed Days

Jun 22, 2010: 2:11 PM CST

Rob Hanna of Quantifiable Edges recently released a 68-page “Guide to Fed Days” in which Rob shares a plethora of research on trading days before, day of, day after Fed Days and I wanted to share that link with you.

He also released a post today entitled “Predicting Fed Rates.

There is also a link to a neat webpage from the CMG Group on “Fed Watch:  Interest Rate Contracts” that you can use to see what the market participants think about the upcoming (and future) Fed decisions.

Regarding his Guide to Fed Days, Rob Hanna writes:

“The Quantifiable Edges Guide to Fed Days takes the most compelling edges from the past and combines them with greatly detailed new analysis.

Over 65 pages in length, the Guide provides incredibly comprehensive detail on Fed Day market behavior and probabilities.

From the time leading up to the Fed Day, to action on that day, to the days following, Rob Hanna shows where the greatest trading edges lie through detailed historical analysis.”

With tomorrow’s Fed Day coming up, now would be a good time to take a look at historical research to find if there are specific edges surrounding trading during and around Fed Day Announcements.
