Hi Corey, I hope I'm not stepping on your toes but I just wanted to add a comment to this trader.

I use the 3/10, along with a full stochastc 5/3/3. I know the histogram shows momentum but I think the stochastic give you more of a heads up when momentum is changing.

Here's a chart of USO now underwater, below the 10 day ema:
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=USO&p=D&yr=0&m...

Cheers,
Dan

Corey:
Excellent work as usual. However 7/14 low-2167, 10/19 high-2190, which means the uptrend has already past the point that converts this from a W 4 to a W3 does it not? My Advanced Get Elliot Wave count has already changed automatically to a W 3 because of this. Would make sense since, do we really expect a wave 5 drop from these levels, given the Bernache PUT, the printing of money and the FED doing all it can to assure everyone all is well. I see a Wave 4 pullback re Fib levels and more upside. Your thoughts?

York,

The 3/10 Oscillator was taught to me by Linda Raschke and I've been using it ever since as a momentum oscillator, particularly in regard to divergences and momentum peaks.

A post reveals more:

http://blog.afraidtotrade.com/how-do-i-create-t...

I like the analysis. Many are calling this the turn (some have called tops 10 times) but the main indexes have not even broken the 50, 200 or 300 day SMAs. I think the dollar breaking trend today is a big deal but we'll have to see how that plays out over the next couple of days to see whether it confirms.

CC
www.chartsandcoffee.com
