Strongest and Weakest Intraday Trend Day Trading Stocks for Feb 19

Today’s mid-day scan for the strongest (and weakest) stocks in current Trend Days include some surprising names.

Time Warner Cable and Comcast – famously in the news lately due to a possible merger – top the list of today’s intraday downtrending stocks.  Surprisingly, Apple (AAPL) joins the list of downtrenders but may be reversing from the lows.

Without further delay, let’s take a look at the top four selected Intraday Trend Day candidates:

The bullish potential trend day candidates include Kroger (KR), Eli Lilly (LLY), Target (TGT), and Nabors Industries (NBR).

Our candidates for potential Bear Trend Day continuity – or reversal – include Time Warner Cable (TWC), Comcast (CMCSA), a surprise appearance by Apple (AAPL), and finally Hewlett-Packard (HPQ).

Apple (AAPL) seems already to have made a potential reversal play, which reminds us that aggressive traders can use these candidates as potential intraday V-Spike or Rounded Reversal candidates while others may prefer to use these candidates to trade potential retracements or breakouts in the direction of the prevailing intraday trend.

As always, monitor price relative to the 20 EMA and 50 EMA (5-min) throughout the session.

Also note the spacing or “orientation” of the intraday moving averages (distance between them).
